As promised, here are more pictures from the First Saturday Bee at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Above Jeanne shows us this bag she made from a Jelly Roll. It is rather large and today she carried all her and her daughter’s quilts in it to bring to Show-N-Tell. Remember from yesterday’s post how large those quilts are and how many she had!
The bag snaps down the front and each end has a drawstring. Above is a look at the inside. She put several pockets on the inside too.
Here you can see her using these large snaps to close it.
Above daughter Jenny easily carries it on her shoulder while she shops.
We got so excited when we saw this bag, that we’ve talked Jeanne into teaching a class in the fall. Maybe if we are lucky I can talk her into doing a tutorial for the blog. I can think of a million uses for a bag like this!
Ever sewn a lot of points together and had the centers leave a huge, hard lump? Michigan Loony Loomer has a remedy for that. Check it out.
