My daughter is a nurse and works at a hospital. One day she mentioned in passing that the hospital could use some walker bags. I made a mental note of it and did a search for a pattern. I knew I had seen one before, maybe even posted a link. However, it wasn’t until I picked up a book at the library that I found just the right pattern. Above are two bags that I made.
These are reversible walker bags. I know they look just like the previous picture, but if you look closely you will see that some things have changed. The book also shows a slanted pocket on one side. I didn't do that. But I did divide each pocket into three separate pockets in various sizes.
This is just one side of the bag. The other side is the same with the pocket at the other end. I liked this pattern because it takes only three fat quarters. It is a quick and easy pattern and I used fabric from my stash. This Reversible Walker Bag pattern can be found in the book 5-10-15+ Fat Quarters, published by House of White Birches.
On Another Note: Timeless Treasures has a nice pattern for a Tonga Confetti-Going In Circles quilt.
Until next time,
