First Saturday Bee met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop today and I couldn’t wait to show you all the interesting and beautiful projects that were shared. Above, Marge shares her stunning quilt. She said this is NOT paper pieced. It took her about three months to finish it. We were all in awe.
Glenna showed us her Bow Tie quilt. It is three dimensional. I love the colors she used.
Glenna also made this BOM Square in a Square. Beautiful!
Judi shared this lovely embroidery quilt. She hand quilted it.
Judi also showed us this darling Christmas quilt, made with small panels and lots of piecing. She hand quilted this one also. Oh, I wish I could quilt like that!
Yvonne (that is her hiding behind the purse) made this cute Halloween purse.
And last but not least are pictures of Marge sharing her hand-made with love items for her new Great Grandson who will be arriving in February!
Great job Marge and congratulations!
You guys are all so talented and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your sharing with us and letting me post these pictures.
Chris announced that the day after Thanksgiving, the Attic Window Quilt Shop will be open for those of you who don’t want to fight the maddening crowds at the department stores. The shop is a quiet, serene place where you can come and eat snacks, share with your friends, and quilt all day long. Just let Chris know (call the shop) if you plan to be there so she will know how much food to prepare.
Saturday, November 26th, is Christmas Craft Day. There was much talk this morning of how much fun everyone had last year. You won’t want to miss this. Call the shop and make your reservation now for Christmas Craft Day.
Take a look at the calendar on the Side Bar for the interesting classes coming up at the shop this week. Lee Ann has a class Saturday on how to make a Too Hip Bag. I’ll show you a picture on Tuesday. Call the shop to register and get your supply list.
