Several interesting items were featured at the First Saturday Bee at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Above is the quilt that Cindy made. This is a sample for an upcoming class. The pattern is free with the purchase of the fabrics at the store. The fabric is from the Modern Mix line by Benartex and is called Pop Floral Cocoa/Willow.
Jeanne Bird made this beautiful quilt and brought it to show and tell. I feel so bad that the pictures isn’t clearer. I usually try to take two pictures incase I move like I did in this one, however, I didn’t want them to stand there forever with their arms in the air while I waited for my camera to reboot. Jeanne says that she made this while her father was in the hospital It was the last thing they shared. It is a beautiful quilt.
Jeanne’s pattern is from Appliqué Quilt Revival by Nancy Mahoney. It is filled with updated patterns from the 30’s. You will find it at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
Chris showed us some new kits in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. These Pillow Case kits take out all the guesswork. Kits include the pattern and the fabric is folded to give you an idea of what your pillowcase will look like. All this for only $12.
