It is time to start a new project! Come join Glenys at the Attic Window Quilt Shop in August, and work on a 12-block wall hanging, measuring about 35 X 45. There are two patterns from which to chose. It will be easy to add borders to make a lap size throw. Each block measures 8 ½“ square. This class meets the 4th Friday of the month from 6 - 9 PM. Call the shop for details.

Attention: I just heard of two organizations that are providing quilts for critically wounded solders in combat hospitals and on transport planes. The first is Citizen Sam.Org and the other is American Hero Quilts . These quilts are sent to Afghanistan to the critically wounded that have to be transported to Germany for further medical attention. They use them to help keep the soldiers warm while being transported in the big cargo planes. We all love to make quilts and have extra sitting around our house. Why not give brave men something to keep them warm and show they are loved.
