NEW CLUBS, CLASSES, BOM AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

This is the first project that members of the Thimbleberries Club will be working on at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  The Club begins in February and promises to have twelve months of quilting and party fun.
This book, Pattern Party, and these fabrics are what the Thimbleberries Club will be using.  There will be no individual patterns but you will be using the patterns in the book.  The book also includes some great recipes!
I love this sample of Carolyn’s Stack & Whack BOM.  The club meets Jan. 25 (day) or Jan. 26 (evening).  The first session will center on choosing fabrics.
Do you like sewing curves?  Can you make curves like in this sample?  This is from Carolyn’s Twist & Turn quilt.   She will show you how to create graceful curves that are no problem at all.  Her class begins in February.

Check the calendar on the sidebar for all upcoming classes and feel free to call the shop for further information or to make a reservation for a class.

DON’T FORGET:  SNOWDAYS is being held at the Attic Window Quilt Shop during the Month of January.  There are specials all month long as well as a free snowman pattern and snowflakes.  There is also a scissor sharpening special this month.  Bring in two pair of scissors to be sharpened and get the second pair at half price.

The Heart of Winter Tour is Feb. 11.  You won’t want to miss this.  We can sit back and relax while the bus driver takes us to Quilted Memories in Montague, Around the Block in Portland, Quilts Plus in Kalamazoo, and of course, the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I’ve heard about how much fun everyone has on these bus tours and have been unable to participate in the past.  This year I get to take advantage of the ride, the discounts, and the free patterns because I’m going.   I’m really looking forward to a day of shopping, laughter, and being with women who talk quilt.   Call the shop and make your reservation now.

Sew Lux Fabrics has a tutorial for using your scraps in a string block.  While there, take a look around her blog.  She has some other tutorials too that you might like.
