Happy Birthday to the Oreo cookie

 The Oreo cookie is 100 years old.  Did you ever look at one in a magnifying glass?  We did at school yesterday.  I have this urge now to make a black and white quilt......

 So this week the ladies were busy reorganizing.   We now have a section of the store devoted to bags.  Everything you need to make a bag is in one place, the pattern, the zippers, the closures, etc.  Plus we put all of our samples out so you can see what your finished project will look like.

Spring is in the air..... we are getting ready for 3, yes 3 quilt shows coming up.  Our first one is March 24th, in Long Island. Then comes the CT Piecemakers show in April, and then the Northern Star Quilt Guild show in May! 
Lots of new fabrics arrived this week.  I'll post pictures later...
Tomorrow is our Constellation of Stars class from 12-2.   The store will be open from 12-4.  Stop in to see us.
