FIRST SATURDAY BEE SHOW N TELL

Show-N-Tell is always fun and was no different recently when the First Saturday Bee met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above Cathy M. shows us her latest finish.  I wish all of you who love those Civil War fabrics could see this in person.  It is fantastic and Cathy did a lovely job.  She calls it her California King quilt.

Jan L. made this quilt top. She said this foundation pieced quilt is supposed to look wonky. She would just randomly cut the fabrics to get the various sizes. She chose Christmas fabrics and adding the panel with the stars and trees was her own idea. You probably can’t see it very well in the picture, but Jan says the fabric in the bottom border is what inspired her to do this quilt. Well done, Jan.

Saw this on Bella On Line. Sew 4 Home has a tutorial for a car caddy that straps on the headrest. Great idea.
